Group Rules and Deposit:
Why we strictly divide groups (up to 5 or 8+ kids), and why is a 1-day prepayment required to secure the spot.
🌲 How We Form Children's Groups at the "PLEME" Survival School
Dear parents! To ensure that our 5-day kids' survival course is as safe, effective, and well-organized as possible, we follow a strict system for group formation.
For high-quality instruction and proper supervision, we divide our groups into two distinct types:
Mini-group (up to 5 kids) — our standard, small-group format. We use our own vehicle to transport the participants to the course location.
Large group (8 to 13 kids) — our expanded training format. In this case, we charter a certified bus and hire a professional driver.
⚠️ Important logistics rule: why we cannot accept a 6th participant?
Once we have reached 5 kids, the group is fully booked. We cannot accept a 6th child, as they will physically not fit into our car. Switching to a bus format for the sake of just one person is financially impossible: bus rental and driver services must be paid in advance and are very expensive. Therefore, after the 5th child, we will only reopen registration if we are guaranteed to get at least 3 more participants (so the group becomes large — from 8 people up).
Attendance options and booking conditions
Our course runs for 5 days, but we offer flexible options: you can sign your child up for the entire 5-day course or choose attendance for one specific day.
Introduction of a mandatory prepayment (deposit):
In the past, we operated entirely on trust. However, experience from previous courses has shown that some parents cancel their child's participation at the very last minute or simply stop responding right before the start.
What this leads to:
Other children who really wanted to take the survival course end up staying home. We held the spot and turned away other parents, only for that spot to remain empty.
If a large group was planned, we paid for the bus rental and driver out of our own pocket in advance. If a participant cancels right before departure, this money is non-refundable, and the school suffers direct financial losses.
Our new rule:
To secure a spot for your child, a prepayment equal to the cost of one day of participation is required.
If you are attending for 1 day — you pay for this day fully in advance.
If you are attending for all 5 days — this one-day payment acts as a deposit and guarantees a spot for the entire course.
Please book your spots in advance! By making a prepayment, you guarantee your child's participation in the program, and you allow us to prepare the equipment and transportation in time. Let's respect the school rules so that both you and we can feel confident and secure! 🎒

Gear Checklist:
What your child must wear (closed-toe shoes, long pants, warm jacket for the mountains) and how to teach them to use repellent properly.
Dear parents, preparing the right gear is the very first step toward a successful survival course! Please pack the backpack together with your child so they know exactly where everything is located.
What to Wear (On the Child):
Clothing must be comfortable, durable, and allow full freedom of movement.
Sturdy Shoes: Comfortable sneakers with a good grip (non-slip soles) or trekking shoes. Shoes must be well broken-in and tested. No slippers, Crocs, or open sandals!Pants:
Thick long pants (sport or outdoor pants) to protect legs from branches, nettles, and ticks. Shorts are not suitable for the forest.
Hat: A baseball cap, bandana, or sun hat to protect from the sun is mandatory.
Sports Jacket / Hoodie: A thick, warm sports jacket or fleece. It can get very cold in the mountains even during summer, so a warm layer is strictly required!
Inside the Backpack (For the Day)
Your child needs a small, comfortable backpack with two shoulder straps that they can carry easily by themselves throughout the day.
1. Weather Protection & Spare Clothes:
Rain Protection (Two Options): Either a high-quality long raincoat or a waterproof jacket. Umbrellas are not allowed, as the child's hands must remain free.Spare Clothes: A t-shirt, clean socks, and light pants (in case your child gets wet or muddy).
2. Food & Water:
Water: A reusable water bottle or flask with clean drinking water
Hearty Lunch (Lunchbox): Sandwiches, energy bars, nuts, dried or fresh fruit. Food should not be easily perishable in the heat.3. Personal Hygiene & Safety:Sunscreen: High SPF factor (it is highly recommended to apply it at home and put it in the backpack for reapplying).
Tick & Mosquito Spray (Repellent): A personal bottle suitable for your child.
Wet & Dry Wipes: One small pack of each.
Personal Medication: If your child needs to take specific medicine (please make sure to inform the instructor about this in advance!).
Important Request for Parents: Teach your child how to use the repellent! Please talk to your child at home before the course starts and teach them how to use the insect spray correctly:
Apply ONLY ONCE: Clothes and skin should be treated just once before the activities begin (or under the instructor's supervision on-site).
Do NOT spray constantly: Repellents contain strong chemicals. Continuous and uncontrolled spraying is harmful to your child's health (it can cause allergies or nausea) and to the other children around who are forced to breathe in the fumes.
Safety Rule: The spray must be applied outdoors, carefully avoiding contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds. After applying, hands must be wiped or washed thoroughly so that chemicals do not get onto the food.
What NOT to Pack: Tablets & Expensive Gadgets: We learn to live in the real world during the course; devices will only distract the kids and might get broken. (A phone to stay in touch with you is allowed).

Our behavior standards in multinational groups and why we do not provide behavioral correction services.
At "PLEME" Survival School, we create a safe, supportive, and friendly environment for every child. Survival skills require concentration and teamwork, which is why discipline is our top priority.
Our Core Rules:

Mutual Respect: We require all participants to treat each other, the instructors, and nature with respect.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination and Bullying: Our groups are multinational. We strictly prohibit any form of bullying, mocking, or discrimination based on nationality, language, appearance, gender, or physical abilities. Every child must feel safe.

Absolute Compliance: In the wild, the instructor's commands must be followed instantly and without question. This is a matter of health and safety.
⚠️ Important Note for Parents: We do not offer behavioral correction
Our mission is to teach children survival skills, self-reliance, and teamwork. We do not provide parenting, re-education, or behavioral correction services for difficult behavior.
If a child consistently breaks the rules, shows aggression, insults other participants, or ignores the instructor's directions, we will be forced to dismiss them from the group and return them to their parents. In this case, the prepayment (deposit) will not be refunded.
Please discuss these rules with your child before the course starts. Mutual respect and discipline are the keys to a great and safe adventure!

How to send your address to the instructor, why punctuality is vital, and how pickup times are coordinated (±15 mins).
🚌 Free Transportation and Logistics
We provide free transportation for our course participants. We pick up children from various locations across Bulgaria and design our route to be as direct and time-efficient as possible.
Since coordinating a group pickup is a complex logistical task, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:
Individual Pickup Times: The meeting time will vary for each parent (plus or minus 15 minutes) depending on your location. The instructor will calculate the schedule individually for every family.
Strictly No Lateness: We strongly request that you bring your child to the meeting point exactly at the designated time. Even a minor delay by one person disrupts the entire schedule, forcing other parents and children to wait longer.
Please Be Patient: Managing logistics for children across different areas is challenging. Traffic conditions or minor delays at previous stops may slightly alter the arrival time. Please show patience and understanding if our vehicle is slightly late when picking up or dropping off your child.
What you need to do now: Send your exact address to the instructor in advance. Based on all addresses, he will create the optimal route and send you your personal timeframe and specific pickup point.
